Cover Breakdown & Deleting Cover Arrangements
Review all the cover arrangements you have made in a cover cycle using the various options available to you in the Cover Status and Manage Cover tab of the Cover Manager module. These options provide a glance view of cover arrangements. You can choose to delete the records displayed if required.
Open the Cover Manager module
Select either the:
Cover Status tab.
or
Manage Cover tab.
Review cover arrangements from any of the following options:
Cover Breakdown.
Cover for Yesterday.
Cover for Today.
Cover for Tomorrow.
All of these options list both published and unpublished cover arrangements made. The most recent cover arrangements are displayed when you first open your selected option.
A breakdown of the information displayed in these options is shown below:
Choose to:
Select a date to work with. Today's date is displayed when you first open the option. Use the arrows or calendar button available to select an alternative date in the cover cycle.
Edit cover arrangements. Do not use this function. If you need to change cover, delete the arrangements made and rearrange cover for lessons from scratch.
Delete cover arrangements, this removes the cover arrangements made and reinstates the covering teacher as available for cover.
View and print the Master Cover Timetable. Use this to quickly view and print a report of the day's cover. An example of the Master Cover Timetable is shown below:
Deleting Cover Arrangements
Delete cover arrangements to remove both published and unpublished covers from the module. Use this function if the teacher you have selected cannot cover the allocated lesson. Also, delete cover arrangements for a lesson that is cancelled (suspended).
Deleting cover arrangements marks the selected lesson as requiring cover (where applicable) and reinstates the covering teacher as available for cover (where applicable).
